FOUNDERS NOTE
I launched GODESS on May 24, 2022-...and to think how much we’ve grown as a brand and community is amazing! There have been many ups and downs since we launched as a team and brand but it has been the most rewarding experience and I know this is only the beginning.
For years I only wore my hair down, because years of tight ponytails had damaged my hair. Afterwards, I only felt comfortable wearing my hair down because I thought "it didn't look good up." When I finally started trying out different hair accessories, nothing excited me, nothing complimented my outfits, and almost everything broke within a month.
My vision for GODESS was to created timeless, high-quality hair accessories that lasted a long time, and were designed with a modern approach. I wanted other women to wear our pieces, and feel confident in their up do.
It was important to me that they were also created with better materials- not the cheap, wasteful plastic we are so used to seeing.
For those of you who have been here from the start, and to those of who who are new to our family, thank you for being here. It means the world that we get to share our designs and content with people from all around the world. To connect, chat, and share our journey with you is the best gift. We have so much more to give, create, and share!
